is a 1983 spy film and the thirteenth film in the James Bond series, starring Roger Moore in his sixth outing as Agent 007. It was directed by John Glen and was the second of two James Bond films released in 1983. The movie's title comes from a short story by Ian Fleming, although the film's plot is largely original. 
Synopsis
The film's plot involves James Bond investigating the murder of a fellow agent who is found dead with a fake Fabergé egg. This leads him to a smuggling operation run by the wealthy and enigmatic Octopussy (Maud Adams). Bond uncovers a plot to detonate a nuclear warhead on a U.S. Air Force base in West Germany, which would trick Europe into disarming and leaving itself vulnerable to a Soviet invasion. Bond must work with Octopussy to stop the rogue Soviet general and the exiled Afghan prince behind the plan |
