Bond uncovers a plot to detonate a nuclear warhead on a U.S. Air Force base in West Germany, which would trick Europe into disarming and leaving itself vulnerable to a Soviet invasion. Bond must work with Octopussy to stop the rogue Soviet general and the exiled Afghan prince behind the plan
