Window card Under the Yum Yum Tree
is a 1963 American sex comedy film based on the Broadway play of the same name. It stars Jack Lemmon as Hogan, a womanizing landlord who rents apartments exclusively to attractive young women.
Synopsis
The story follows Robin Austin (Carol Lynley), a college student who moves into Hogan's apartment complex with her boyfriend, David Manning (Dean Jones), for a platonic "compatibility" test before marriage. Hogan, who has made a habit of seducing his female tenants, becomes instantly smitten with Robin. Most of the film revolves around his humorous, albeit lecherous, attempts to break up the couple and seduce Robin, while her aunt Irene (Edie Adams), a former tenant and one of Hogan's previous conquests, tries to protect her niece.
