Hogan, who has made a habit of seducing his female tenants, becomes instantly smitten with Robin. Most of the film revolves around his humorous, albeit lecherous, attempts to break up the couple and seduce Robin, while her aunt Irene (Edie Adams), a former tenant and one of Hogan's previous conquests, tries to protect her niece.
