Twenty Million Miles To Earth

Twenty Million Miles To Earth (Poster) Belgian movie poster for the 1957 science fiction classic "20 Million Miles to Earth," known in French as "Les Rescapés de la Planète Vénus" and in Dutch as "De Vluchtelingen van Planeet Venus". Movie Overview Release Date: June 1957. Director: Nathan Juran. Producer: Charles H. Schneer for Morningside Productions. Special Effects: Created by the legendary stop-motion animator Ray Harryhausen. Plot Summary The story follows a U.S. spaceship returning from Venus that crash-lands off the coast of Sicily. A small, gelatinous mass brought back from the planet hatches into a reptilian creature that grows at an extraordinary rate due to Earth's atmosphere.
