Poster as received : A prominent burn caused by perhaps close proximity to a candle. Significant water stain across entire bottom of poster seemingly caused by condensation within a glass picture frame. |
| Poster was washed with orvus and water, a light bleaching agent (diluted chloramine-T) was used to reduce the stain. Poster was then pasted with organic starch and mounted to substrate of canvas and masa paper. During the process some of the richness of the blacks was diminished. |
| Authentic linen backed poster. All conservation and restoration materials are easily reversible in water. |
