Concert poster This is the official concert poster from the opening night of Metallica's groundbreaking 24-show residency, titled "Life Burns Faster," at the Sphere in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Key Details & Background
• Concert Date: October 1, 2026.
• The Artist: The stark, red-and-grey Lovecraftian artwork was illustrated by comic artist Puis Calzada (distributed via F4D Studios), explicitly commemorating the band's historic debut as the first heavy metal headline act to perform inside the immersive venue.
• Visual Theme: The towering, multi-eyed creature looming over the Las Vegas strip represents Cthulhu / Ktulu, directly referencing the band's iconic instrumental track, "The Call of Ktulu," which was featured as a massive visual highlight during the residency's opening night.
A companion piece featuring a giant red skull was released immediately following this design to form a diptych for the opening "No Repeat Weekend" shows. |
