It depicts a standing male acrobat wearing a jester-like cap alongside a kneeling woman bathing a child in a shallow tub. A performance drum sits in the foreground. • Signature: In the top right corner of the plate, it features Picasso's incised plate signature and date reading Picasso 1905. • Publication: While created in 1905, most impressions available today were printed later in 1913 by Louis Fort and published in an edition of 250 by the legendary art dealer Ambroise Vollard in Paris.
