Event Highlights • The Route: Spanning over 5,000 km across 6 grueling stages, the race started in Nice and concluded in Biarritz, stopping along the way in Nancy, Reims, Dieppe, Vichy, and Albi. It incorporated 9 circuit races, 9 hill climbs (courses de côtes), and 2 road trials. • The Victory: The 1969 edition marked a historic return for the event after a five-year hiatus. It was ultimately won by Gérard Larrousse and Maurice Gélin driving a Porsche 911 R.
