It was first printed in 1971 to promote the opening-day musical revue at Walt Disney World.Poster Details The Artists: The piece was a collaboration between legendary Disney Imagineer Marc Davis, along with designers Jim Michaelson and Eddie Martinez.The Artwork: The central illustration features "The Five Bear Rugs" band—Zeke, Zeb, Ted, Fred, and Tennessee—performing alongside Baby Oscar.The Tagline: It bills the performance as "The Wildest Show in the Wilderness". The Parks: Because the show was an instant success at Florida's Magic Kingdom in 1971, it was quickly duplicated for California's Disneyland in 1972. As a result, this early version of the poster prominently lists both Disneyland and Walt Disney World along the bottom edge.
