Friendly Finland

Friendly Finland - Before (Poster) One sheet original vintage travel poster, designed by the acclaimed Finnish artist Anneli Qveflander (sometimes spelled Queflander). Created around 1960–1962. The poster shows two blonde children joyfully fishing from a small rowboat in a vibrant blue sea. The boy wears a shirt printed with "SUOMI" (the Finnish name for Finland). Produced by Uusi Kivipaino in Tampere, Finland. It was commissioned by the Finnish tourism authorities to promote international travel to Finland, highlighting the nation's warm hospitality, outdoor recreation, and scenic lakes.
