Paris Londres

Paris Londres - Before (Poster) One sheet original vintage French railway advertising poster titled "Paris à Londres", designed by the celebrated French military and advertising illustrator Maurice Toussaint (1882–1974). Created around 1908–1914, this poster was jointly commissioned by the French Chemins de Fer de l'État (State Railways) and the British London, Brighton and South Coast Railway. It was explicitly designed to encourage cross-channel tourism from France to Great Britain. It promotes the scenic and affordable train-and-ferry route departing from Gare St. Lazare in Paris, stopping through Rouen and Dieppe, crossing by steamship over the English Channel to Newhaven, and concluding at Victoria Station in London.
