Artist: Rick Griffin, a leading designer in the 1960s psychedelic poster art movement. Design Details: The central motif of the "flying eyeball" was inspired by the Kustom Kulture art of pinstriper Von Dutch and ancient Egyptian/Assyrian symbols, reinterpreted by Griffin. The poster is a highly recognizable masterpiece of the era.
