The Will Rogers Memorial Fund was established after Rogers' death to continue his humanitarian work. Initially, it operated a hospital that focused on treating tuberculosis. The organization has since evolved and is now known as the Will Rogers Motion Picture Pioneers Foundation. Today, it focuses on medical research for cardiopulmonary diseases, provides financial assistance to members of the motion picture industry, and funds a program called "Brave Beginnings" which provides neonatal ventilators to hospitals. |
