Halfsheet, The image is a poster for the pantomime titled L'Enfant prodigue, or The Prodigal Son. It is a pantomime in three acts by Michel Carré fils with music by André Wormser. The poster is a reproduction of an original lithograph created by Adolphe Léon Willette in 1890. This same pantomime was adapted into a silent film in 1907 by Michel Carré, which is considered the first feature-length motion picture produced in Europe.
