Tarzans Three Challenges

Mounted One Sheet, Tarzan's Three Challenges is a 1963 British-American adventure film starring Jock Mahoney as Tarzan. The movie is notable for moving the character of Tarzan out of his typical African jungle setting to an unnamed Asian country, which was filmed in Thailand. The plot revolves around Tarzan being summoned to protect a young heir to the throne, named Kashi, from his evil uncle, Khan, who is played by Woody Strode. Tarzan must face a series of challenges, including tests of strength, skill, and wisdom, to prove himself worthy of the task and to defeat the villainous Khan. The film was Jock Mahoney's second and final time playing the role of Tarzan. During the production, Mahoney reportedly contracted several illnesses, including dysentery, dengue fever, and pneumonia, which caused him to lose a significant amount of weight. Despite his illness, he performed many of his own stunts. Mahoney was 44 years old at the time of the film's release, making him the oldest actor to portray the character.
