is a 1973 spy film and the eighth installment in the James Bond series produced by Eon Productions. It is the first film to star Roger Moore as the fictional MI6 agent James Bond.
Plot Synopsis:
Bond is sent to New York to investigate the deaths of three British agents. His investigation leads him to Dr. Kananga, the corrupt dictator of a Caribbean island named San Monique, who is also known as the Harlem drug lord, Mr. Big. Bond, along with a psychic tarot card reader named Solitaire (Jane Seymour), must work to stop Kananga's plan to flood the market with free heroin to put rivals out of business before monopolizing the trade |
