Concert postcards, BG-106 John Mayall/Arlo Guthrie Concert Poster
The image shows an uncut sheet of concert postcards, featuring the design for the Bill Graham Presents show BG-106. The poster was designed by artist Stanley Mouse and promoted a series of concerts at the Fillmore Auditorium in San Francisco from February 8-10, 1968. The performing artists were John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, Arlo Guthrie, and Loading Zone.
The design is notable for its psychedelic style, featuring a blue eye with wings and a candelabra above it, surrounded by a red background. The lower half of the poster has a separate, more traditional banner-like design for the Arlo Guthrie and Loading Zone performances.
