One sheet, The image shows a poster for the 1985 song
"Dancing in the Street", a duet by Mick Jagger and David Bowie. The song is a cover of the 1964 hit by Martha and the Vandellas.
The collaboration was originally planned as a live performance to be broadcast simultaneously from Wembley Stadium and John F. Kennedy Stadium for the Live Aid charity event in 1985. Due to technical limitations, the two artists instead recorded a music video and released the song as a charity single to raise money for famine relief in Africa. The video was introduced at the Live Aid concert by comedian Chevy Chase.
The poster was used to promote the music video and the single. |
