Avenue Brand - Flattened (Poster) Crate Label, Avenue Brand is a vintage citrus crate label from the Victoria Avenue Citrus Association in Riverside, California. These labels were used to advertise and identify wooden crates of oranges during the early 20th century. The original lithograph label was created by the Schmidt Lithograph Company, likely in the 1920s. Other brands from the Victoria Avenue Citrus Association included "Victoria," "Navajo," and "Casa Blanca".
