is a 1954 American musical film starring Bing Crosby, Danny Kaye, Rosemary Clooney, and Vera-Ellen. The film was directed by Michael Curtiz and features songs by Irving Berlin. It was also the first film to be released in VistaVision, a widescreen process developed by Paramount Pictures.
The movie's plot follows a successful song-and-dance duo who team up with a sister act to save the failing Vermont inn of their former commanding general. The film is a holiday classic and was the highest-grossing film of 1954. |
