Italian 2 Panel, Vacanze sulla Spiaggia
is the Italian title for the 1963 American film Beach Party. It is considered the first of the popular "beach party" film genre, which was a series of musicals produced by American International Pictures aimed at a teenage audience.
The film stars Frankie Avalon and Annette Funicello as a young couple, Frankie and Dolores, who spend their summer at the beach with their friends. The cast also includes Bob Cummings, Dorothy Malone, and Harvey Lembeck. The movie is often credited with launching the career of surf rock guitarist Dick Dale, who performed in the film with his band, the Del-Tones. |
