British Airways

After One Sheet, The poster is titled "The Viking Royal Mail Express" and features a minimalist, dynamic Art Deco-style illustration of an aircraft in flight. It is believed to be from the 1930s and was designed by Theyre Lee-Elliott, a British graphic designer known for his modernist style and for creating the iconic "Speedbird" logo for Imperial Airways, a predecessor to British Airways. The poster also includes the call to action, "Book Your Seat Here," which was a radical message for its time, aiming to position air travel as both modern and accessible. A variation of this design was also used for a British Airways timetable cover in 1938. Original posters of this kind are considered rare and a piece of aviation and design history.
