Bitter Campari

Mounted Attraction, advertising Liqueur, Alcohol, Carlo Fisanotti's 1957 Campari Poster This is an original vintage poster for Bitter Campari, designed by the Italian artist Carlo Fisanotti in 1957. The design uses a trompe-l'oeil effect to show a pink paper label being peeled back from a bottle to reveal the Campari logo underneath. Fisanotti, also known as "Fisa," began his career in design in 1929 and worked in film advertising in Paris before returning to Turin, Italy, to open his own studio. He created this poster as part of Campari's long tradition of collaborating with prominent artists to create advertising campaigns. Other notable artists who designed posters for Campari include Leonetto Cappiello, Marcello Nizzoli, and Fortunato Depero
