13th Floor Elevators and The Sir Douglas Quintet at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco, on September 2-3, 1966.
The poster is identified as "Family Dog" series number FD-24 and is sometimes referred to by the title "Tree House". It was designed by the artists Stanley Mouse and Alton Kelley. The 13th Floor Elevators were a prominent psychedelic band from Texas, and this poster advertises their first performance in San Francisco |
