Breakfast at Tiffany's
is a 1961 American romantic comedy film starring Audrey Hepburn and George Peppard. The film was directed by Blake Edwards and is based on the 1958 novella of the same name by Truman Capote.
The film is about Holly Golightly (Hepburn), a naïve and eccentric New York socialite who becomes intrigued by a struggling writer, Paul Varjak (Peppard), who moves into her apartment building. The movie is celebrated for Audrey Hepburn's iconic performance and the film's signature song, "Moon River," which won an Academy Award.
