LAI

LAI (Poster) One Sheet, Linee Aeree Italiane (LAI) was an Italian airline that operated from 1946 to 1957 before merging with Alitalia. The poster is a vintage travel advertisement for the airline, featuring a four-engine propeller plane. This poster was designed by the Italian graphic designer and painter Amleto Fiore (1920-2008) in the 1950s. Fiore was known for his work on nautical and aviation themes and also created posters for Alitalia after LAI's merger. The poster depicts a plane taking off from a runway at dawn.
