Concert poster by Chuck Sperry, Chuck Sperry's Widespread Panic Poster (November 2009)
This is a concert poster designed by artist Chuck Sperry for the band Widespread Panic's shows at the Riverside Theater in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on November 20-22, 2009. The silkscreen poster measures 22 by 33 inches and is part of a limited edition of 325 prints. It is printed on archival cream paper using a seven-color silkscreen process.
The design features a female figure with intricate, flowing hair, with a background of layered circles in warm, psychedelic colors. According to Sperry, the design includes a rich red-to-chocolate-red blend, a light yellow-orange, and a heavy gold metallic circle pattern. A subtle white glaze is printed over a metallic blue female form, with an ochre glaze over the black parts of the hair and shadow.
