Japanese 2 panel, The Getaway
is a 1972 American action thriller film directed by Sam Peckinpah, and starring Steve McQueen and Ali MacGraw. It is based on the 1958 novel of the same name by Jim Thompson. The film follows a recently paroled bank robber, Carter "Doc" McCoy, and his wife, Carol, as they are forced to go on the run after a heist goes wrong.
