Attraction, music, advertising, The Beatles' Second Album
is the second Capitol Records album released by the band in the United States on April 10, 1964. The poster shown is a promotional advertisement for this album. The album was a compilation of songs from four different UK releases, including five tracks from the UK album With The Beatles, the single "She Loves You," and its B-side, "I'll Get You". It also featured "Thank You Girl" and "You Can't Do That," as well as two new songs: "Long Tall Sally" and "I Call Your Name". This particular album was assembled by Capitol Records specifically for the U.S. market and is noted for being composed entirely of uptempo songs. |
