One sheet, This is a Russian avant-garde cinema poster for the 1924 silent film
(The Abduction of Helen). The movie was a two-part German silent drama based on Homer's Iliad. The two parts were titled (Beautiful Helen) and (The Fall of Troy). The film was directed by Manfred Noa and starred Edy Darclea and Vladimir Gajdarov.
The text on the poster also identifies the main actors as (Darklea A. Basserman) and (Vladimir Gaidarov). The film was produced by (Goskino). |
