Remains Of The Day

Mounted Daybill, The Remains of the Day is a 1993 drama film directed by James Ivory and starring Anthony Hopkins and Emma Thompson. The movie is an adaptation of the 1989 Booker Prize-winning novel by Kazuo Ishiguro. The film's plot follows James Stevens (Hopkins), a devoted English butler, and Miss Kenton (Thompson), the housekeeper at Darlington Hall in the years leading up to World War II.
