Synopsis
In the film, James Bond is sent to investigate the murders of three British agents, which leads him to Dr. Kananga, a corrupt Caribbean dictator who operates as the drug lord Mr. Big in New York City. Kananga has a psychic tarot card reader named Solitaire (Jane Seymour), whose abilities are vital to his criminal organization. Bond's mission takes him from Harlem and New Orleans to the fictional island of San Monique, where he must thwart Kananga's plan to flood the market with heroin. The movie also features a famous speedboat chase scene through the Louisiana bayous.
