Tête (Head) is a 1963 linocut print by Pablo Picasso. The work, also referred to as Tête de Femme (Head of a Woman), is a rare example of a linocut by Picasso. The artist created many pieces with the "face" motif throughout his life, with the style evolving over time. This print was created in 1963 and is hand-signed in pencil by Picasso. It was printed by Arnéra in Vallauris and published by Louis Leiris in Paris. The print is from an edition of 50. |
