One sheet, Steamship, print of a painting of the RMS Baltic, a White Star Line steamship, by the artist Norman Wilkinson (1878-1971). The ship was a member of the "Big Four" class of ships, which also included the RMS Celtic, RMS Cedric, and RMS Adriatic. When the RMS Baltic was launched in 1904, it was the largest ship in the world. Norman Wilkinson was a well-known marine illustrator and poster artist who worked for various rail and ship companies. |
