One sheet vintage travel poster created for Scandinavian Airlines System (SAS) to promote flights to Africa. The poster is believed to be from the mid-1950s or 1960s. The artwork, which features giraffes, was created by the Danish artist Otto Nielsen (1916-2000). Nielsen is well-known for his series of posters for SAS that promoted the excitement of faraway destinations with his distinctive, painterly style. |
