Al G Barnes

Mounted One sheet with snipe, vintage poster for the Al G. Barnes Circus Side Show. The poster advertises a "GORGEOUS NEW SPECTACLE" called the "FIESTA OF THE RIO GRANDE" and lists a performance date in Yakima on "MON. MAY 18". The Al G. Barnes Circus was an American circus that operated from 1898 to 1938 and was known as a "Wild Animal Show". In 1929, the circus was purchased by the American Circus Corporation, which was later acquired by John Nicholas Ringling, who merged it into the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
