The movie stars Christopher Lee as Count Dracula and Peter Cushing as Doctor Van Helsing. It is the first in a series of Hammer films about the character. The film was directed by Terence Fisher and is based on the novel by Bram Stoker. Christopher Lee's portrayal of Dracula is considered one of the most iconic versions of the character. The movie is widely considered to be one of Hammer Films' best movies and one of the finest Dracula movies ever made. |
