Procol Harum

Procol Harum Concert Poster BG-143 is a psychedelic concert poster created by artist Lee Conklin for a series of shows at the Fillmore West in San Francisco, produced by Bill Graham. The poster promotes concerts featuring Procol Harum, Santana, and Salloom-Sinclair from October 31 to November 2, 1968. The artwork is known for its intricate, swirling style and disguised lettering, which was a signature of Conklin's work. The design is a notable example of the psychedelic art movement of the era and was described as "Conklin's translation of a psychedelic experience to paper". Santana was so impressed with the design that they asked Conklin to redraw the lion image for the cover of their first album. The poster is a highly sought-after collectible in the music memorabilia community.
