. It was designed by artists Rick Griffin and Stanley Mouse for Family Dog Productions. The poster advertises shows at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco from October 27-29, 1967.

The artwork, known as "Mornin' Papa," is in a comic strip style and incorporates surrealist elements. It is also known as FD-89 in the Family Dog poster series. The original posters were printed on uncoated index stock and measure approximately 14" x 20". There are also second and third printings, which can be identified by differences in size and printing stock. |
