One sheet Apollo 13 is a 1995 American docudrama film directed by Ron Howard. The film stars Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, Bill Paxton, Gary Sinise, and Ed Harris, and tells the true story of the aborted 1970 Apollo 13 lunar mission. An explosion occurred in the spacecraft's mixing tanks, risking the lives of the three astronauts on board. The film's screenplay is an adaptation of the 1994 book Lost Moon: The Perilous Voyage of Apollo 13 by astronaut Jim Lovell and Jeffrey Kluger. |
