Concert Poster BG222 is the Bill Graham-produced concert poster for a benefit concert held on February 23, 1970, at the Winterland Ballroom in San Francisco, California. The concert featured performances by Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service, and Santana, and was a benefit to raise legal defense funds for the Grateful Dead after members of the band were arrested in New Orleans. The poster was designed by artist Randy Tuten. |
