Bob Dylan

Bob Dylan LP cover Signed Blonde on Blonde is the seventh studio album by Bob Dylan, released in 1966. It was one of the first double albums in rock music and is widely considered one of the greatest albums of all time. The album cover features a striking, slightly out-of-focus portrait of Dylan. The Story Behind the Album Cover The iconic, blurry photograph was shot by Jerry Schatzberg in February 1966 in New York City's meat-packing district. Contrary to popular belief at the time that the blurry image was a nod to drug use, the photographer revealed that he and Dylan were simply shivering from the cold weather. Schatzberg took many other sharp, in-focus photos during the session, but Dylan personally chose the blurred one for the album cover
