The entertainment featured two main acts:
The Bianchi Family: Described as presenting "extraordinary Terpsichorean, Gymnastic, Fantastical, and Musical Performances". Performers listed include Otto Mannering and Mr. Evanion.
Mr. Evanion, Magician & Ventriloquist: Also known as Henry Evans, Evanion was a renowned Victorian-era "Royal Conjuror" who performed magic, ventriloquism, and humorous acts. He had a career spanning over fifty years and performed for the British Royal Family.
Dissolving Views: The show also featured dissolving views—a popular form of magic lantern show—illustrating "The surprising Adventures of 'SINBAD the SAILOR'".
The evening's program also included a "Distribution of Toys and Trinkets, Bon-Bons, Crackers, &c." provided by Mr. Eugene Rimmel, a notable perfumer. |
