Artwork: The image is from a classic piece of comic book pop art. Infantino's art style in the 1960s heavily influenced the look of the character during the Silver Age of comics and coincided with the popular Batman television series starring Adam West.
Origin: The posters were printed by G&F Posters NYC, official licensees of National Periodical Publications (now DC Comics) in 1966. Original copies were often sold as mail-away premiums, sometimes with products like Fact Toothpaste. |
