Movie Information
Plot: The film is a comedy about an illegal, cross-country, "anything goes" road race from Connecticut to California. Various teams compete in quirky vehicles, each with a unique gimmick to try and evade the police and win the race. The plot points in the film were inspired by actual events and people from the real-life Cannonball Baker Sea-to-Shining-Sea Memorial Trophy Dash races that occurred in the 1970s.
Cast: In addition to the names highlighted on the poster, the movie also co-stars Jackie Chan and Adrienne Barbeau.
