| Original U.S. one sheet, off set litho, 59/690, 59/183, poster measures 27x41.5", poster with margins measures 28 1/4 x 42 3/4".
Mounted to army duck canvas and Masa paper substrate. Poster has been previously conserved and is in excellent condition.
There are very minor areas of paper loss to this poster:
In and around the P in "Wasp", above the man's right foot at lower center, under the A in "A Beautiful", and continuing horizontally across the top section (in the violet sky) are 14 very small holes approx. 1cm each. Each of these losses was filled with paper or filling compound.
There is a stain in the top left sky that appears when on the light table.
The entire border and the yellow title are airbrushed. The fold lines were lightly detalied. |
