Around The Turkish Baths

After Fine art by Picasso, etching by Pablo Picasso titled Autour du Bain Turc d'Ingres (Around the Turkish Bath by Ingres). This print is part of Picasso's "347 series," a collection of engravings created between March and October 1968. The artwork is a reference to Jean-Auguste-Dominique Ingres' 1862 painting, The Turkish Bath, which depicts a group of nude women in a harem. Picasso was a known admirer of Ingres' work, particularly the way Ingres structured space and distorted the human form. The print was created using the etching technique.
