Artist: The highly recognizable artwork, nicknamed "The Flying Eyeball," was designed by the renowned psychedelic poster artist Rick Griffin.
Design Inspiration: Griffin adapted the image from the 1950s auto detailing art of pinstriper Von Dutch and evolved it into the winged, bloodshot figure with a rattlesnake tail.
