Ride Experience: Guests rode in individual saucer-shaped vehicles that hovered on a cushion of low-pressure air, similar to an air hockey game. Riders steered by shifting their body weight, bumping into other saucers like bumper cars.
Operation Issues: The attraction was expensive to operate and required intensive maintenance, which contributed to its short lifespan.
Current Status: The original location of the ride is now the site of the Magic Eye Theater. A similar, updated version of the ride, Luigi's Flying Tires (later Luigi's Rollickin' Roadsters), was later opened at Disney California Adventure. Screen print |
